Distillation. The double Apparatus for Distillation. (F1-A-7)

This great print shows the distillation process. It was taken from Encyclopaedia Londinensis; or, Universal Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, and Literature, Comprehending, Under One General Alphabetical Arrangement, all the Words and Substance of Every Kind of Dictionary Extant in the English Language, by John Wilkes. It was published in London in May of 1803 by J. Adlard.

This print is matted in black with a greyish-green border around the print. It’s framed in a silver frame which really emphasizes the print. The frame measures 17” x 14” with the area of the print that shows measuring 9 ½” x 7 ½”. A wonderful piece of history. Sold as is.
